In the framework of supporting and strengthening military cooperation relations with friendly and brotherly countries, the French Air Force participated for the first time in the activities of the Tactical Leadership Project (TLP), which was held between the Egyptian and French sides over several days at an Egyptian air base.
The course included lectures on planning and training on command and control, in addition to conducting joint air sorties in order to unify the planning style and develop air tactics in line with the latest developments in aviation sciences to qualify a mission commander capable of leading an alliance of several nationalities and different aircraft models by following advanced combat scientific foundations to accomplish the tasks assigned to it efficiently and effectively.
On the sidelines of the activities of the Tactical Leadership Project (TLP), elements of the Egyptian and French Air Forces conducted the Joint Air Training (Amon-23), which included a number of theoretical lectures to unify concepts, hone skills, and coordinate the management of joint operations using various modern air combat methods.
The multi-role fighters from both sides also carried out many joint air sorties to exchange experiences and develop skills during the execution of the tasks assigned to them. The training reflected the high level and professionalism of the participating elements, highlighting the advanced human and technical capabilities possessed by the Egyptian and French Air Forces that qualify them to work together under different conditions.
This comes in light of the growing partnership and military cooperation relations between the Egyptian and French Armed Forces.
