Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, sent a cable of congratulations to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1447 AH.
The message read as follows:

It gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency my sincerest congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, praying to Almighty God to make it a feast of goodness and blessings for Your Excellency, for Egypt, and for its great people.
I also wish Your Excellency continued success in carrying out your national duties and responsibilities, which you uphold with utmost honesty, sincerity, and dedication.
On this blessed and faithful occasion, during which the noblest meanings of sacrifice and devotion are embodied, the men of the Armed Forces reaffirm their full readiness to exert every effort and make every sacrifice in fulfilling the sacred missions and responsibilities entrusted to them in safeguarding the security and safety of the homeland and defending the sanctity of its territory.
They remain steadfast in adhering to the noble principles and values that preserve our Egyptian nation as strong and leading under Your Excellency’s wise national leadership.
We pray to Almighty God to protect Your Excellency for the sake of the nation and guide your steps on the path of righteousness.

Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, also sent a similar cable of congratulations to the President of the Republic and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces on the same occasion.
In addition, Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher issued directives extending greetings to commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, military craftsmen, soldiers, Armed Forces personnel serving in peacekeeping missions, and civilian employees of the Armed Forces on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha.
Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa also issued similar directives conveying greetings to all Armed Forces personnel on the same occasion.
