In the framework of implementing training activities for the 2020"Qadir maneuver ", elements of the 2nd and 3rd field Armies, and the central and southern regions, carried out a number of combat activities in cooperation with all the main branches and the General Command of the Armed Forces.
Training activities began with raising the status of combat readiness, alignment and inspection of the participating elements, followed by the implementation of the elements of the 2nd Field Army of a number of raids on terrorist outposts and nests in the regions of North Sinai, as well as intensifying security procedures on tunnels, crossings and ferries, while taking security measures along the navigational course of the Suez Canal and the Mediterranean coast in cooperation with the Navy and Air forces.
The elements of the 3rd Field Army also carried out many training activities and raided terrorist outposts in the areas of central Sinai, while continuing to secure the navigational channel of the Suez Canal and the Martyr Ahmed Hamdi Tunnel, securing the coasts of the Gulf of Suez and the Gulf of Aqaba in cooperation with the Navy and Air forces and securing vital targets and tourist destinations in central and southern Sinai.
Within the framework of the strategic opening plan of the units of the Military Central Region in cooperation with the departments of the Armed Forces, elements of the Military Central Region raised the levels of combat readiness, including the lineup of the participating forces and the implementation of the strategic loading and opening procedures to assist the field armies and military areas, and one of the units of the Central Region implemented a tactical project with soldiers with shooting with live ammunition, it showed the extent of the highly qualified units of the Military Central Region.
The elements of the Military Southern Region have also raised the levels of readiness and implemented a tactical project with live fire, while securing the southern borders with the State of Sudan and the State of Libya and implementing many activities within the scope of the Military Southern region.
Elements of the Air Defense carried out many of the firing squads to assist the forces' actions in all directions.
The maneuver "Qadir 2020" comes in light of the high fighting and morale spirit of the formations and units of the Armed Forces that have been able to carry out all the tasks assigned to them.
