The Armed Forces organized a visit for a delegation of the Presidential Program for the Qualification of Youth for Leadership to the headquarters of the Military Academy. The visit began with a presentation of an introductory film about the Military Academy that displayed the establishment and development of the Military Academy through different ages, followed by a military presentation that showed the extent of discipline enjoyed by the Academy’s cadets.
Major General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Director of the Egyptian Military Academy, gave a speech in which he welcomed the attendees, stressing the keenness of the General Command of the Armed Forces to provide all capabilities to develop systems of preparation and qualification to build successive generations armed with science and knowledge in all military and civil fields.
The delegation visited the Military Academy Museum that contains many paintings and historical artifacts, and passed by the swimming pool to see the leap of faith for cadets applying to join the Egyptian Military Academy. A group of Military Academy cadets was also seen performing inside the developed fitness fields that reflected the extent to which the cadets had acquired athletic, physical skills and high endurance as one of the main pillars for building the combat competence of the individual combatant capable of carrying out all tasks bravely. The delegation also visited the equestrian track, shooting fields and the planetarium, and inspected an exhibition of weapons and equipment in the different wings of the Academy.
The delegation expressed their deep gratitude and thanks to the Armed Forces for organizing this visit, which gave them the opportunity to know the Academy role and history that is always a source of pride.
The visit comes within the framework of the Armed Forces' keenness to confirm the bonds of friendship and cohesion, and to build bridges of cooperation and interdependence between youth leaders and their counterparts from the Military Academy.
